Rajagopal Sathish transfered to Kings XI Punjab

Rajagopal Sathish, a former all-rounder of Mumbai Indians, was transferred to Kings XI Punjab in the first transfer window after an exchange deal was struck between the two teams. Dinesh Karthik, a reliable wicket-keeper and batsman, transferred to Mumbai Indians for an undisclosed amount, and in exchange, R. Satish was transferred to Kings XI Punjab.

Rajagopal Sathish was born on January 14, 1981, in Tiruchchirappali, Tamil Nadu. The 31-year-old is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler. He has the potential to score big runs, having scored his highest runs of 204* in first-class cricket. However, his performance in T20 Cricket is not satisfactory, with an average score of 19.70 and only 394 runs in his 38 matches with the highest score of 41 runs.

Rajagopal Sathish has not played for India yet and will be paid Rs 30 lakhs ($56,619) for the season by Kings XI according to IPL rules.
