Pune Warriors India (PWI) retained Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly, former Indian Captain and highest successful Indian captain in foreign soil, has been successfully retained by Pune Warriors India for IPL 2012 season 5. Ganguly who was the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders for the first and third season of Indian Premier League had played IPL Season 4 for Pune Warriors India as a replacement player.
In the 2011 IPL Players Auction Sourav Ganguly went unsold, but later he was signed by the Pune Warriors India and he made 50 runs of four matches and three innings. Pune Warriors India retained Ganguly on the last day of the IPL 2012 Transfer Window.
Earlier we have reported that Sourav Ganguly to captain the Pune Warriors India in 2012 edition of IPL. This is one step forward towards that step.
