Kochi IPL players to be in IPL 2012 auction
Good News for the players of Kochi Tuskers Kerala. The players of Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) will be in the IPL 2012
Players auction on February 4, 2012. In late 2011, IPL governing Council had terminated the franchise of Kochi IPL team and enchased their bank guarantee of Rs. 167 Crores.
If any Kochi IPL players fail to attract the bid and remain unsold, their salaries will be covered by the IPL through the Franchises Bank guarantee that has been enchased by BCCI. All the players of Kochi IPL team including leaders like former Srilankan captain Mahela Jayawardene, renowned spin bowler Muttiah Muralitharan, Former captain of Kolkata Knight Rider and New Zealand wicket keeper Brendon McCullum and Indian young star Ravindra Jadeja.
