IPL 2012 Highest Wicket Takers, IPL 5 Top Bowlers, Purple Cap Winner

Fifth edition of Indian Premier League Season (IPL) stared with the opening match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Chennai on April 4, 2012. IPL is the second highest-paid league, based on first-team salaries on a pro rata basis, second only to the NBA. It is estimated that the average salary of an IPL player over a year would be $3.84 million.

IPL Season 5 will feature 76 matches between nine city based franchise team with 72 group stage match played on home-away basis and 4 playoff matches. The final of IPL 2012 will held at Chennai on May 27, 2012.

    12 wickets in 8 match with AN economy OF 6.50! YES 6.50! sakib al hasan! if he get 12 in 8 matches than think what he would do if he played 17 or 19 matches! he probably would have gotten more than 30 -35! still indian fans think kallis is a better alrounder than sakib! he also got two MOM from 8 matches!
