Andrew McDonald transfers to Royal Challengers Bangalore
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have managed to transfer Australian allrounder Andrew McDonald for US$100,000 transfer fee from Delhi Daredevils for the IPL 2012 Season 5 during the transfer window trade.
During the 2011 IPL season 4, A. McDonald have played only one match for Delhi Daredevils. In his three year IPL career he played only six game scoring 76 runs and took 5 wicket.
The team manager for the Royal Challengers Avinash Vaidya said in a statement “All-rounders are a priceless asset and we are pleased to add Andrew to our squad”. McDonald has excelled with bat and ball in different formats of the game, RCB considering him as one of the major inclusion into their squad. Andrew McDonald was the fifth players to be traded during the current transfer window after Dinesh Kartik, R. Satish, K. Pietersen and Harmeet Singh.
